The Daily Role of Faith in Our Lives

Hey Woman of Truth,
How’s your faith?
Is it strong, or is it the kind that’s only lip service?
Or is it the kind where, as His daughter, your heart is all in, and you’re putting in the work—not knowing how or when the promises God has spoken to you will come to pass? Here’s a tidbit of advice: you may be closer than you think to seeing that breakthrough.
The promise is yours. I wouldn’t want you to miss it by a simple reaction, like complaining.
Yeah, it’s so easy to do, and it can easily become part of our day-to-day routine.
Take a moment to step back and ask yourself: Have you been in the complaining window lately? If so, it’s time to get up and start praising Him for entrusting you with the assignment He has given you.
David, one of my favorites in the Bible, could have easily complained, but instead, David chose to be a man after God’s heart despite his mistakes and flaws. He knew his greatest strength wasn’t himself, but the faith he placed in his Father. God saw and honored David’s faith, and He will do the same for you.
So, if you’re feeling down, it’s time to pick yourself up. Build your faith in the One who keeps His word.
Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father,
We are grateful that You chose us to live out Your promises. We thank You, Lord, for this day. Help us to not complain or compare our lives to others. Let us lean into You, the One who will get us through. We love You, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Meditation truth for this week:
"Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him; but I will maintain mine own ways before Him."— Job 13:15
His servant,
Regina
Keep your heart open and your faith strong!
